Airbus A340-300

Description

The A340-300 was the first version of the A340 made by Airbus. It came out in 1987 and has the same body and wings as the smaller A340-200. It can usually carry up to 295 passengers for about 6,700 nautical miles. Airlines have been replacing this plane with twin-engine models because they are more reliable and use fuel better. Some of the main airlines that use the A340-300 are Air France, Lufthansa, and Swiss.
