Airbus A350-900

Description

The Airbus A350-900 is a plane that mostly uses carbon fiber in its body and wings. It was first thought of as a version of the A330, but it was changed to be wider and have a new wing, tail, and cockpit. This new version came out in 2006. The A350-900 can carry 325 passengers over 8,000 nautical miles. It competes with Boeing's 777-200ER and Dreamliner, and it also replaces the A340-300. A long-range version is being made so Singapore Airlines can fly directly between Singapore and the United States again. As of May 2016, Finnair, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Vietnam Airlines use the A350-900.
