Airbus A350-900LR

Description

The Airbus A350 is Airbus's first plane that uses mostly carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer in its body and wings. It started as a version of the A330, but it was redesigned to be wider with a new wing, tail, and cockpit. The new version was released in 2006. The A350-900 can carry 325 passengers over 8,000 nautical miles. It competes with Boeing's 777-200ER and Dreamliner, and it replaces the A340-300. A long-range version is being made to allow Singapore Airlines to fly directly between Singapore and the United States. As of May 2016, Finnair, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, and Vietnam Airlines use the A350-900.
