Bombardier CRJ100ER/LR

Description

The CRJ100 is based on the Challenger 600 airframe, which was originally designed for private business jets. The airframe has been lengthened by almost 6 meters to accommodate about 50 passengers in a regional configuration. It also has new wings with a greater span and the ability to carry more fuel. The first flight was in 1991, and it was certified and put into service with Lufthansa one year later. Primary operators of the CRJ100 include Air Wisconsin, Endeavor Air, and Skywest Airlines.
