Description

This 1940 North American AT-6 served with the U.S. Army Air Force in the early 1940s as a pilot trainer. Civilian logs start in 1968 and document the aircraft's usage and maintenance until 2004, when it was placed into storage. At that time, it was noted as the oldest airworthy and flying AT-6 in the world. Included with the sale are numerous spare parts, propellers, cylinders, and additional items shown in the photos. The seller has sentimental value for the aircraft, previously owned by her father. A new owner can restore this AT-6 to its former glory and return it to the sky.
