All parts for the project have been acquired by the restorer over the past 20 years. Many are New Old Stock. The restoration work done to date has been to the same quality as the Tom Reilly Vintage Aircraft restored XP-82 Twin Mustang which won the 2019 Grand Champion Warbird awards and two Golden Wrench Awards at Sun N’ Fun 2019 and EAA Airventure (Oshkosh 2019).
