Description

STILL AVAILABLE - 1975 Cessna 150M. N3372V is a well-equipped, clean example of a pampered late model Cessna 150. It has been in private owner ship since 1978. It was a flight school trainer in Arizona and Nevada for the first 4 years of its life, then went into private ownership. The engine has less than 100 hours since a Carlus Gann overhaul when new Millenium Cylinders were installed and the prop was reconditioned and repainted by Sensenich. At the April 2026 annual inspection, the compressions were all 79/80 or higher. A Steve’s Aircraft oil cooler with ground adjustable air damper keeps oil temperatures at 180F or below, even during climb-out on hot summer days. The oil cooler is also undoubtedly extending engine life by keeping the heads and valves cool. Static RPM is right at specs. The interior is splendid, with looking like new carpet and painted plastic panels. The like new leather seat covers are from Shelby Isham and Executive Wings in Bolivar, Tn. The headliner, overhead console and baggage area plastic panels are like new. There are extra baggage area tie down eyelets. Hooker shoulder harness and lap belts are stored in above-the-door tray. Rosen visors finish off the deluxe interior. The windscreen and rear windows are excellent, having only been cleaned with Plexus, human hands and clean micro fiber cloths since 2004. The side windows have some crazing but are still very good. A 2023 custom metal panel contains instrumentation unusual for a One Fifty such as an autopilot and dual Garmin navigators, one of which is IFR certified. A Cessna Skyhawk style white avionics master switch has been added and fuses have been replaced with circuit breakers. An EDM 900 engine monitor with fuel flow and CHT/EGT on each cylinder plus RPM, carb temp, oil temp, oil pressure, volts, amps, HP% and miles per gallon inspires confidence in the air. The plane is fully ADS/B In and Out compliant, with the Garmin GTX345 transponder providing the “Out” while the glareshield mounted Garmin GDL39 3D provides the “In”. It has its own dedicated belly antenna – not the usual rubber ducky - for excellent reception. It is hard-wired to ships power. A carbon monoxide monitor is mounted at eye level directly ahead of the pilot. Navigation is very easy thanks to the stack mounted Trio Autopilot and the Garmin GPS175 IFR Navigator. An Apple iPad 5 included with the sale is mounted on the left door post, runs Foreflight and can be programmed at home. When ready to fly, the route can be sent wirelessly from Foreflight to the GPS175 navigator. The aera760 navigator is hard-wired to ships power and mounted on a permanent RAM ball on the right panel. The navigators and EDM900 engine monitor all talk to one another, allowing display of the fuel burn rate, miles per gallon, fuel required to get to the next waypoint and how much fuel will remain when you get there, among other things. The exterior paint still looks very good for having been done in 1992. You have to look close to see some paint flaking on the wing tips. There are a few small runs and chips here and there. The plane has never suffered hail damage and the logs show no damage history. A close inspection of the firewall and landing gear boxes confirms no landings have ever caused damage. There are chips of paint coming off the cowl, mostly where it gets abraded on the prop spinner when removing/installing the cowl. But other than that, many pilots remark of its “recent paint job”. Exterior rated 8/10 The plane has been hangered since at least 2004, with unknown hangar history before that.
