Description
Highlights 1989 Lancair 235 2-seat airplane kit: S/N 218. All parts in like-new condition. Kit is about 60% assembled and 80% complete (requires an engine, propellor and instruments). KIT DETAILS: Kit is complete except for the engine, propellor and instruments. Propellor (not included): typically, a 2-bladed, fixed-pitch 62" (max.) propeller is used, such as an Airmaster AP433CT. Other fixed-pitch or constant-speed propellers may be used. The fuselage, wing spar, horizontal stabilizer, canopy and header tank have already been fabricated and inspected by an A&P mechanic. Comes with all hydraulic tubing and hoses, AN fittings, actuators, motors for retractable gear and wheel doors, plus all hardware, wires, hinges and rods for flight controls. Retractable-gear mechanism is completed. Electro-hydraulic system still needs to be installed. All wiring, actuators, switches, gauges, tubing, AN fittings, lamps are included. Fuel capacity: 34 gallons (tanks included). Because of the "double joggle" design of the composite body, all seams are hidden, so hardly any body work needs to be done. This design creates a flush surface and ensures a smooth, uniform outer skin, minimizing drag, Also adds structural reinforcement, strength and stability. The wing spars have been set up and meticulously installed. All assembly manuals, drawings and technical bulletins are included. 1989 Lancair 235 2-seat airplane kit: S/N 218.
