Description
The Falcon 50EX is a great mix of range, cabin size, value, and performance on runways, even in hot or high locations. Dassault Aviation was the first to create a private jet that could fly between continents, the Falcon 50. In 1997, they improved it, keeping the good parts and updating others with better technology. The Falcon 50EX flies faster at high altitudes, goes farther, uses less fuel, and generally does better than the Falcon 50. It can take off in 4,935 feet at sea level and in 7,247 feet at 5,000 feet elevation and 77°F. Its maximum takeoff weight is 39,700 pounds, which is 900 pounds more than before. The Falcon 50EX can climb to 37,000 feet in 17 minutes, which is 13 minutes faster than the Falcon 50. It can cruise at 417 knots at 43,000 feet for long trips, or at 481 knots at 39,000 feet for the best speed. The highest altitude it can fly is 49,000 feet. The cabin is 5.9 feet high and 6.1 feet wide. It is 23.5 feet long and has a total volume of 700 cubic feet. There are 115 cubic feet of baggage storage inside. Three closets provide space for coats, suits, and briefcases. All baggage areas are pressurized. A total of 2,205 pounds of bags can be stored. It seats nine passengers with a four-seat club arrangement, two facing seats, and a three-seat divan.
