Description

The Power King is a 28 volt rectifier, made for use in a hangar or for starting aircraft. (A 14 volt switch is optional.) It is all electric, quiet, and has no fumes. It has a peak output of 2400 amps at 60 Hz and 1000 amps continuous at 60 Hz. It has a peak output of 1800 amps at 50 Hz and 800 amps continuous at 50 Hz. It needs a minimum of 50 amps of 208 volt service. The AC input is three phase 50 or 60 cycle, with 200 to 600 volt service (adjustable in the field). The transformer is designed to give more DC output. It has ripple and RFI filtering, reverse diodes, and a soft start designed to provide minimum stress on aircraft accessory drive systems (optional). It also has over voltage protection. Standard equipment includes 100 ft. AC input and 20 ft. DC output cables (no extra charge). Contact us for more details.
