Boeing 787-9

Description

The Boeing 787-9 is a long-range, wide-body airliner. It is 6.1 meters longer than the 787-8 and can carry 280 passengers in a three-class setup for almost 7,670 nautical miles. It shares many features with the 787-8. Air New Zealand started using it in August 2014. Almost half of all 787 orders are for the 787-9, and 87 planes had been delivered as of early 2016. Some of the main airlines that fly the 787-9 are All Nippon Airways, Etihad, and Virgin Atlantic.
