The last three rows are Bombardier's claims from its December 2025 and January 2026 releases, which say specifications are subject to operating rules. The rating row reflects the FAA's 8900.1 table as revised in September 2026. Global 8000 price and availability Market range, checked 17 October 2026: there is no public asking price. GlobalAir carries one Global 8000: serial 70071, built 2021, with 914 hours and 222 landings, offered on request by Aero Ventures. GlobalAir places it in Texas with one US owner since new, a 14 seat cabin, Starlink and Ka band, and describes a Global 8000 upgrade package, a fresh level 2 pre purchase inspection and a recent 60 month inspection at BAS Tucson. GlobalAir records two Global 8000 sales or contracts in the past year. For scale, our Global 7500 page records GlobalAir's average 7500 ask of $60M on the same date. Global 7500 to Global 8000: the upgrade route EASA's data sheet gives two ways to meet the Global 8000 definition. An aircraft can be built with the three listed modification summaries, or a Global 7500 from serial 70006 on can embody SB 700-34-7528. The table layout makes it hard to tell whether the bulletin alone is enough, so get Bombardier's written confirmation for any serial. The definition also names the 20-19BB1B engine, where the 7500 is listed with the 20-19BB1A. After a conversion, check the engine data plates and logbooks against that. Aero Ventures also offers a 2019 Global 7500, serial 70016, N752AV, with the upgrade at the buyer's option. Buying considerations Any Global 8000 for sale today will be young, so the checks are about standard and paperwork rather than wear. Production status. Bombardier delivered the first aircraft in December 2025. The data sheet describes the BD-700-2A12 as assembled green in Toronto, with interiors fitted and aircraft delivered from Montreal under STC. We have no confirmed delivery count, so do not rely on one from a seller. Paperwork on a conversion. Ask for the embodiment record for the modifications or the bulletin, the GL 8000 AFM revision on board and the weight and balance report. Support programmes. Serial 70071 lists GE OnPoint on the engines and Smart Parts Plus on the airframe and APU. Confirm the terms carry over and cover the converted standard. Crew. Two pilots minimum. Ask your training provider what differences training the operator expects for a converted aircraft, since the FAA table names only the G7500. Range claims. Treat 8,000 nm as Bombardier's marketing figure and ask for a performance analysis on your own routes, payload and reserves. Frequently asked questions Is the Global 8000 FAA certified? Yes. Bombardier announced FAA certification on 19 December 2025. Order 8900.1 lists the BD-700-2A12 under the G7500 rating and does not name the Global 8000 separately. How much does a Global 8000 cost? No asking price was public on 17 October 2026. The single aircraft on the market was offered on request. How far can the Global 8000 fly? Bombardier quote
