Milholland Double Eagle Proj

Description

This project includes a fuselage complete with all welding, main landing gear using Cleveland wheels/brakes, elevator & rudder control systems, elevator trim system, tail brace wires, custom tailwheel, front floorboard, instrument panel, and seats. The fuselage is powder coated & the tail surfaces are epoxy primered. It also includes a set of completed wings, an early Aerovee VW engine conversion, and Dacron fabric for covering. The firewall has been moved back about 6" to correct nose-heavy conditions often seen in Double Eagles; thus, the airplane best fits pilots no taller than 5'8".
