Specifications Registration: CP-2352 Serial Number: 2385/40 The SA-315B Lama was developed from the SA-318C Alouette II (using its airframe with some reinforcement) and continued on using the same serial number batch. Some SA-318C Alouette II’s were converted to the SA-315B Lama standard; these kept their original serial number, but usually had /xx added after the serial number; the xx being the conversion number. The SA-315B Lama used the same dynamic components, including the engine and rotor system, as the SA-316B Alouette III.
