Husky Service Bulletin No. 27 4 INSTALLATION INSTUCTIONS* Before proceeding make sure you have Installation and Operation Manual for Model AK-451-( ) Series Document number IM-451 Rev NC-4.1c or later FAA approved revision 1. Disconnect wire number 71 from negative side of battery at flight station 135. Turn ELT off (flight station 135). 2. Remove fairing, side skylight (top right wing) flight station 67 Aviat Aircraft Inc. part number 35371-001. 3. Remove fairing, wing root (top right wing) flight station 67 Aviat Aircraft Inc. part number 35424-002. 4. NOTE: make sure wires are aligned in connector so both outside connections are open and the orientation of the connector and wires (colors) are the same as they were. a. Unplug remote wiring cable assembly, Ameri-King part number 4500041. b. Cut off connector. c. Strip cable assembly using wire crimper stripper termination tool. (Manufacturer: Ideal, part number 30-496 or equivalent). d. Terminate brown and orange wires. e. Attach connector part number RJ-12 using Ideal tool. 5. Unplug T-adapter (Ameri-King Part No. 4510181) from rear of ELT remote switch. 6. Remove ELT Remote Switch (Ameri-King Part No. 450004) from sight gage panel inside cockpit. Flight station 67 upper right side by removing four PK screws. 7. Replace Battery. Replacement Battery: Duracell DL1/3NB 3volt (Lithium). Refer to Installation and Operation Manual for Model AK-451-( ) Series Document number IM-451 Rev NC-4.1c. Section 2.5.2. 8. Reinstall in reverse order. 9. Perform System Integration Test: Refer to Installation and Operation Manual for Model AK-451-( ) Series Document number IM-451 Rev NC-4.1c. Section 3.3.3.
