DESCRIPTION The modification removes the existing Mccauley or Hartzell 2 & 3 bladed metal constant speed propeller and spinner assembly replacing it with Hartzell Propeller metal propellers (P)HC-O3YF- 1 RF1F8068(B,K)(-2), or (P)HC-O3YF-1 RF)F7693DF(B,K)+2 constant speed propeller. 3. CONTROL, OPERATION INFORMATION I SPECIAL PROCEDURES The Hartzell propellers are a constant speed, variable pitch propeller, controlled by a governor for constant RPM settings at the pilot’s discretion. Repairs may be made to the propeller as described in Hartzell Propeller Operation & Installation Manual 115N or later approved revision. 4. SERVICING INFORMATION Hartzell Propeller publications contain the information necessary to operate, maintain, andperform scheduled maintenance. 4.1 Hartzell Publications (1) In addition to this manual, the propeller overhaul manual and one or more of the following publications are required for information regarding specific recommendations and procedures to maintain propeller assemblies.
