Power Plant

The DA40 NG is powered by the Austro Engine AE 300, a turbocharged common-rail injected 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 168 HP. It features a single-lever control system and is paired with an MT Propeller MTV-6-R/190-69, a 3-blade constant speed propeller. The aircraft has a long-range fuel tank capacity of 39 US gallons (147 litres).

Avionics

The aircraft is equipped with an integrated Garmin G1000 NXi glass panel cockpit, which includes two 10-inch flight displays (PFD and MFD), a GEA 71B airframe/engine interface unit, and multiple Garmin navigation and communication systems.
