General (1) This task gives the procedure to remove the main-door-locked sensor support. (2) The main-door-locked sensor support is installed in the main door in zone 811. THIS IS TO PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND/OR DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT. (1) Do the procedure to make the aircraft safe for maintenance (AMM TASK 20-00-00-910-801-A/200). SUBTASK 010-002-A (2) Open the main door (AMM SDS 52-10-00/1). SUBTASK 862-002-A (3) On the SPDS DU (AMM SDS 24-62-00/1), set the status of this SSPC to OFF: • LG NWS HYD 1B (MENU: LANDING GEAR) (4) In the cockpit, on the CBP, open this circuit breaker and put a circuit breaker ring-and- tag on it: • LG/NWS/HYD CTRL 1A (EMER BUS 2/RHCB - D15) SUBTASK 020-004-A (Figure 402) EFFECTIVITY: ON ACFT WITH SPRING PISTON ON MA1N-DOOR LOCKED SENSOR SUPPORT OR PRE-MOD SB 550-52-0006 (5) Remove the main-door internal handle (AMM TASK 52-11-23-000-801-A/400). (6) Remove the main door linings (AMM TASK 25-23-04-000-801-N400), as necessary. (7) Disconnect the electrical connector (4). (8) Put a protective cap/plug (electrical connector - non ESD) on the electrical connector (4) and on the locked sensor (REF.) receptacle. Refer to Figure 402, Sheet 1. SUBTASK 020-008-A (Figure 403) EFFECTIVITY: ON ACFT WITHOUT SPRING PISTON ON MAIN-DOOR LOCKED SENSOR SUPPORT OR POST-MOD SB 550-52-0006 (9) Remove the main-door internal handle (AMM TASK 52-11-23-000-801-A/400). (10) Remove the main door linings (AMM TASK 25-23-04-000-801-A/400), as necessary. (11) Disconnect the electrical connector (6). Refer to Figure 403, Sheet 1. (12) Put a protective cap/plug (electrical connector - non ESD) on the electrical connector (6) and on the locked sensor (13). Refer to Figure 403, Sheet 1. G. Main-Door-Locked Sensor Support - Removal SUBTASK 020-005-A (Figure 402) EFFECTIVITY: ON ACFT WITH SPRING PISTON ON MA1N-DOOR LOCKED SENSOR SUPPORT OR PRE-MOD SB 550-52-0006 (1) Remove the main-door-locked sensor support (5) as follows: (a) Remove the nut (3) and the washer (2) from the bolt (1). Refer to Figure 402, Sheet 1. Refer to Figure 402, Sheet 1. (c) Remove the main-door-locked sensor support (5) from the aircraft. Refer to Figure 402, Sheet 1. SUBTASK 020-009-A (Figure 403) EFFECTIVITY: ON ACFT WITHOUT SPRING PISTON ON MAIN-DOOR LOCKED SENSOR SUPPORT OR POST-MOD SB 550-52-0006 (2) Remove the main-door-locked sensor support (1), as follows: (a) Remove the nut (3) and the washer (2) from the bolts (8) and (9). Refer to Figure 403, Sheet 1 and Figure 403, Sheet 2. (b) Remove the bolts (8) and (9) that attach the support (1) to the structure. Refer to Figure 403, Sheet 1 and Figure 403, Sheet 2. (c) Remove the main-door-locked sensor support (1) from the aircraft. Refer to Figure 403, Sheet 1.
