INSTRUCTIONS: Read entire procedure before beginning work. 1. Turn master switch - OFF 2. Per instructions provided in Section 53 of applicable aircraft Service and Maintenance Manual, remove Belly Skin for access to Center Bellcrank Assembly. 3. Locate Center Bellcrank Assembly and remove attaching hardware securing Left and Right Aileron Links (ref. Figure M20--289--1). NOTE: Ailerons will be unsupported when links are disconnected. Support ailerons to prevent their un- controlled falling prior to removing attaching hardware at Center Bellcrank Assembly. 4. Discard existing AN3--13 Bolt, 913029 Spacer, MS17825-003 Nut and MS24665-151 Cotter Pin. 5. Reassemble Left and Right Aileron Links to Center Bellcrank Assembly with hardware from kit M20-289-000. Follow order of hardware assembly as follows (ref. Figure M20--289--1): AN3-13 Bolt (Install from back to front) 913029-003 Spacer (Install between aft lug on Center Bellcrank and Right Aileron Link) 913029 Spacer (Install between Right Aileron and Left Aileron Links) 913029-003 Spacer (Install between Left Aileron Link and forward lug on Center Bellcrank) MS17825-003 Nut MS24665-151 Cotter Pin 6. Verify smooth operation of aileron controls. 7. Re-install Belly Skin removed in step 2 above. 8. Remove supports from ailerons. 9. Complete logbook entry. 10. Return aircraft to service.
