IMMEDIATE ACTION SERVICE , IQIQNII. BULLETIN NUMBER 91 August 6, 1946 SUBJECT: Inspection of Fuel Strainer Installation MODELS AFFECTED: Piper J3C-65 Airplanes Serial Nos. 14027 through 17959 It has been brough to our attention that several J3C-65 airplanes have left the factory with the fuel strainer ports Inadvertently reversed. Therefore, we are requesting that all owners Inspect their airplanes for proper installation, The ports are identified by the words "IN" and "OUT" in raised letters on the strainer cover. The proper Installation and location of ports is shown below: FROM FUE.L TA k. .---~ r/REWAI.L TO CI!ABUR.ETOR If the fuel strainer is not installed as indicated above, it should be reversed for proper fuel flow.
