COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA (Civil Aviation Regulations 1998), PART 39 - 105 CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY AUTHORITY SCHEDULE OF AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVES Piper PA-24 (Comanche) Series Aeroplanes AD/PA-24/28 Amdt 1 Normal Operating and Never Exceed Speed Limitations - Reduction 2/75 Applicability: Models PA24, PA24-250 and PA24-260. Requirement: Reduce Vno and Vne speeds as follows: 1. Aircraft not incorporating Rudder Balance Weight Installations Kit, Piper P/N 760705: PA-24 reduce Vne to 160 kts. IAS; PA24-250 and PA24-260 reduce Vno to 147 Kts. IAS and Vne to 165 Kts. IAS. 2. Aircraft incorporating Rudder Balance Weight Installation Kit, Piper P/N 760705: PA-24 reduce Vne to 172 kts. IAS; PA24-250 and PA24-260 reduce Vno to 158 kts. IAS and Vne to 179 kts. IAS. Note 1: For PA24-250 and PA24-260 type aeroplanes incorporating Stabilator Piper Service Kit No. 760747 in addition to Rudder Piper Service Kit No. 760705 - Vne may be increased to 201 knots.
