PA-28-235, Serial Nos. 28-10001 to 28-11378 incl. Compliance Time : At owners discretion. Purpose : To announce the availability of Airplane Flight Manual Supplemental information concerning expanded center of gravity range applicable to the above referenced air- craft. Instructions : 1. PA-28-180 Aircraft, Serial Nos. 28-671 to 28-3072 incl . ; Aircraft in this serial number range must have landing gear strut piston tube, Piper part number 65280-00V installed before the appropriate airplane flight manual supplement with expanded center of gravity range data applies. In other words, for aircraft within this serial number range to comply with the specifications of this service letter, a. Insure that landing gear strut piston tube, Piper part number 65280-00V is installed, b. Procure and attach Supplement No. 2 to the Airplane Flight Manual, Report No. VB-261. 2. PA-28-180 Aircraft, Serial Nos. 28-3073 to 28-5859 incl . ; Procure and attach Supplement No. 2 to Air - plane Flight Manual Report No. VB-261. 3. PA-28-235 Aircraft, Serial Nos. 28-10001 to 28- 11378 incl.; Procure and attach Supplement No. 1 to Airplane Flight Manual Report No. VB-274. 4.
