Australian Government Civil Aviation Safety Authority Supplemental Type Certificate Number: 83-7 Revision 2 This certificate issued to: GippsAero Pty Ltd ACN 140764 138 Latrobe Valley Airfield 75 Airfield Road, Traralgon Victoria 3844, Australia Certifies that the change in the type design for the following product when installed in accordance with the limitations and conditions specified, meets the airworthiness requirements of Civil Aviation Order 101.22 Issue 4 paragraph 3.61 including FAA CAR 3 at amendment 8 and CASA AD/PIPER PA-31/37 Amendment 11. Original Product: Type Acceptance Certificate Number: A126 Referenced TC Number: FAA A20SO Make/Model: Piper PA-31, PA-31-300, PA-31-325, PA-31-350 Description of Type Design Change; Installation of a Wing Spar Strap and incorporation of an Inspection Program to extend the life of the Wing Main Spar Lower cap of Piper Model PA-31, PA-31-300, PA-31-325 and PA-31-350 aircraft in accordance with Gippsland Aeronautics Engineering Releases. The Modification and Inspection Program of this Supplemental Type Certificate meets the requirements of para 1 .b of CASA AD/PIPER PA-31/37 Amendment 1 1. The airframe life limitation of para 2 of CASA AD/PIPER PA-31/37 Amendment 11 still applies. Limitations and Conditions: This approval should not be extended to aircraft of this model on which previously approved modifications are incorporated unless it is determined by the installer that the interrelationship between this modification and any of those previously approved modifications will produce no adverse effect upon the airworthiness of that aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission. This certificate and its Continuation Sheet shall remain in effect until suspended, cancelled or a termination date is otherwise established by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.
