STC Kit Contents

The STC kit includes two 5-blade propellers (MTV-27-1-E-C-F-R(G)/CFR(L)250-103), two full composite spinners, and several documentation items such as an AFM supplement, installation instructions, and an operation and installation manual.

Propeller Specifications

The propellers have a maximum and minimum diameter of 98.4 inches and are made from lightweight natural composite materials. The total weight of the installed propellers and spinners is 329 lbs. The propeller hub is a milled single-piece aluminum design.

Performance Enhancements

The new propeller system provides significant performance improvements, including a reduction in take-off distance over a 50 ft obstacle by approximately 5%, enhanced climb performance by about 3%, and an increase in cruising speeds by approximately 5 knots at specific conditions.

Advantages of the New Propeller

The propeller offers several advantages, such as best vibration damping characteristics, erosion protection due to a bonded nickel alloy leading edge, unlimited blade life, and significant noise reductions.
