  • Complete pre-flight checks before starting the engines.
  • Engines should be warmed up at 1,800 - 2,200 RPM after start.
  • Lift-off speed is 43 MPH IAS for both land and water takeoff.
  • Normal climb speed is 60 MPH IAS.
  • Check fuel levels and ensure they are at least 1/3 full.
  • Perform engine run-up checks at 4,000 RPM.
  • Use full flaps for short field landings.
