Royal Canadian Air Force Aircraft Radio Compass Gauge Indicator MN-98B I-82-A Manufactured by Northern Electric Company Ltd. Bears a date stamp of 1954 Model MN-98B Untested. Sold as is, as found. The instrument is in nice condition and would make an excellent desk top or bookcase show item for the office or home. This Northern Electric aircraft radio compass indicator, model MN-98B is very similar to the Bendix Aviation I-82-A Indicator. This Royal Canadian Air Force model was manufactured in 1954. The direction knob control works and it is an extremely interesting piece of equipment whether you are an aircraft radio aficionado or not! As a note of interest, the Bendix Aviation Corporation counterpart to this was manufactured for the US military for WWII aircraft and for many years after. This piece of history was acquired at an Auction for Western PA Warbird Military Museum which was owned and operated by the late Dr. Walter V. Powell.
