Bendix King ED 551A Electronic Display P/N 066-03137-3300 S/N 1550 As Removed, Condition Unknown Selling As-Is Non Returnable Features Include: Display Unit used in EFS-50 system Typical EFS-50 System includes 1 or more ED-551A Display Units, CP-467 Control Panel, SG-465 Symbol Generator; optional MFD and/or Weather Radar can be added Panel-Mounted unit used to display flight information process by the Symbol Generator - the Symbol Generator receives information from aircraft attitude, navigation, guidance, and weather radar system sources 5" x 5" color CRT electronic display Converts X/Y axis deflections signals & red-green-blue video signals form the Symbol Generator May be used as an EHSI, EADI or MFD When used as an EADI, an inclinometer is mounted on the front panel Weather radar can also be displayed on either the EHSI or MFD Unit has no front panel controls, typically used with the CP-467 control panel ED-551A is scaled larger than the ED-461 & ED-462 ED-551A draws larger characters & symbols when compared to the ED-551 (ED-551 no longer  manufactured ) Display receives power directly from the aircraft, does not draw current from the Symbol Generator Contains an internal fan blower An airflow sensor within the display unit will generate a fault indication on the display unit if insufficient airflow is detected
