No. IA SA 26-01 Date: January 28, 2026 Page 1of 2 Subject: Recall of Orion Skyblazer II Red XLT Aerial Signal Area of Concern: Flight Safety Distribution: All Aviation Operations Discussion : This Safety Alert is issued to communicate an urgent recall and Product Quarantine Notice from Orion Safety Products for Skyblazer II Red XLT Aerial Signals following reports of unsafe performance and malfunction, including improper ignition and failure to function as intended.
Orion’s recall guidance requires immediate action: • Stop using affected products immediately.
• Quarantine all identified items until further notice.

Additionally, the FAA has published a Special Airworthiness Information Bulletin (SAIB) regarding this issue.
• Affected Products : The following Skyblazer II Red XLT Aerial Signals are subject to urgent recall and quarantine (see images on page 2): Product Number 769, 855, and 859 with expiration dates of August 2028 through April 2029 • Product Number 855A with manufacture dates of March 2025 through November 2025 Any Skyblazer II Red XLT aerial signal meeting any of the above criteria must be considered recalled and quarantined immediately.
