Trump International Airport (KDJT/DJT) 1. Purpose of This Notice. This notice provides information to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) aviation safety inspectors (ASI) on Palm Beach International Airport (International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Airport Code KPBI/International Air Transport Association (IATA) Airport Code PBI) changing to President Donald J. Trump International Airport (ICAO KDJT/IATA DJT) and directs possible action(s) related to certificates, authorizing documents, and data in various information systems.

The primary audience for this notice includes Flight Standards (FS) Safety Assurance offices’ principal inspectors (PI) with oversight responsibility for Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) parts 91, 91 subpart K (part 91K), 121, 125, 129, 133, 135, 137, 141, 142, 145, and 147. 5. Discussion. Due to KPBI/PBI changing to KDJT/DJT, changes to the following may be necessary: a. Certificates. Air Agency Certificates, Air Carrier Certificates, and Operating Certificates.
b. Authorizing Documents. Authorizing documents, such as operations specifications (OpSpecs)/management specifications (MSpecs)/Letters of Authorization (LOA), in the Safety Assurance System (SAS) Operations Safety System (OPSS).
c. SAS. Various operator airport data contained in SAS Configuration [Module 1]. This may include changes to Principal Place of Business, Principal Base of Operations, Principal Distribution: Electronic Only Initiated By: AFS-200
6. Action.

Beginning July 9, 2026, operators will receive an automatic pop-up notification in SAS when navigating to “Airport Details” within the “Configuration Data” tab of Configuration [Module 1] (see the example below).

a. PIs should review and determine if their assigned certificate holders (CH) need to amend information to reflect the airport name change from KPBI/PBI to KDJT/DJT by: • Amending a certificate.
• Amending authorizing documents (OpSpecs/MSpecs/LOAs) to reflect the airport name change.
• Updating the airport data in SAS Configuration [Module 1] or other FAA repositories.
b. PIs are expected to remind their assigned CHs via email, letter, or other communication methods that they might not be in compliance with FAA regulations after October 7, 2026, if

Note: Safety Assurance offices and PIs must consider the FAA Compliance Program when determining appropriate action if an operator is not in compliance with existing regulations (refer to FAA Order 8900.1, Volume 14, Compliance and Enforcement, and FAA Order 2150.3, FAA Compliance and Enforcement Program). Additionally, PIs overseeing 14 CFR part 129 operators may consider a foreign referral (refer to Order 8900.1, Volume 12, International Aviation).
