Description
This is a custom 1954 Cessna 170B with an IO-360 engine. It has 2992 total flight hours, with 429 hours since the engine was overhauled. The engine is an IO-360-M1A Lycoming, which was rebuilt by Lycon and produces about 198 horsepower. The propeller has 0 hours since overhaul and is a carbon fiber Hartzell 84-inch two-blade prop. The annual inspection is due in January 2027. The useful load is 738 pounds. It received a bronze Lindy Award at Oshkosh for being a customized classic in 2017. Recently repaired from a minor ground loop and prop strike that did not affect the gear or cowling but did damage a wing tips, horizontal stabalizer, and cabin roof. Engine was torn down and propeller was replaced.
