Description
This is a rare and desirable bush plane. It has great performance. The airframe has 334.6 hours since new. The Continental 0-470 engine has been upgraded to 260 horsepower and has 272 hours since overhaul. The McCauley seaplane propeller has 97.8 hours since overhaul (April 2015). It has a Collins VHF-251 Com, Collins TDR950 Transponder, Dynon EFIS D60 7" screen, and Dynon EMS D120 7" screen. The plane had a ground up restoration in 2017. The wings were removed and new fuel tanks with site glasses were installed. The engine was removed and the firewall forward was serviced. New overhaul cylinders were installed with high compression pistons. A new instrument panel was installed with all new instruments. All new wiring and circuit breakers were installed. New side windows and door windows were installed on the seaplane doors. The wings and parts of the fuselage were repainted. EDO 2700 hydraulic amphibs were installed. A McCauley seaplane propeller was installed. The empty weight is 1886 lbs and the gross weight is 2600 lbs.
