ASB 427-11-35 Page 1 of 4 ECCN EAR99 ALERT SERVICE BULLETIN 427-11-35 29 June 2011 MODEL AFFECTED: 427 SUBJECT: CLEVIS ASSEMBLY – HYDRAULIC SERVO ASSEMBLIES, PART NUMBER 41011300 and 41011700 HELICOPTERS AFFECTED: Serial numbers 56001 through 56077, 58001 and 58002 Serial numbers 56078 and subsequent will have the intent of this bulletin accomplished prior to delivery. COMPLIANCE: For all hydraulic servo actuators specified in the Table 1, perform a one-time inspection prior to next flight. For all hydraulic servo actuators part number 41011300-101 (BHT 206-076-062-111) serial numbers prior to 807 and part number 41011700-101 (BHT 206-076-062-109) serial numbers prior to 230, that are not listed in Table 1, perform a one-time inspection within 25 flight hours or before July 31, 2011, whichever comes first. DESCRIPTION: It has been brought to Bell Helicopter’s attention that some hydraulic servos affected in the ASB 427-05-12 Revision A have not been submitted to the accomplishment instructions of the subject bulletin. The purpose of this ASB is to request operators to verify and ensure that the affected hydraulic servo actuators meet the intent and have complied with the original bulletin. Applicability of this bulletin to any spare part shall be determined prior to its installation on an affected aircraft. ASB 427-05-12 Revision A HRT Service Bulletins 41011300-67-01 and 41011700-67-01 PUBLICATIONS AFFECTED: None affected. ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Remove the necessary fairings/panels to gain access to the hydraulic servo actuator areas (BHT-427-MM Chapter 53 and 67). 2. Determine if an affected hydraulic servo actuator is installed on the aircraft by verifying the component serial number scribed on the identification tag. a. If hydraulic servo actuator is not affected by this bulletin, proceed to Step 4. 3. If hydraulic servo actuator is affected, perform inspection of the nut, shaft and clevis assembly in accordance with Accomplishment Instructions Step 2. B. Sub steps I through 6 inclusively, listed in HR Textron Service Bulletin 41011300-67-01 and 41011700-67-01 previously published with ASB 427-05-12 Revision A a. If the servo meets all the requirements of the inspection, verify if the modification plate identification has been annotated with “67-01”, as specified in the HR Textron bulletin. b. If the modification plate is correctly identified, no further action is necessary. c. If the modification plate is not correctly identified, mark the modification plate in accordance with Step 2. C. listed in HR Textron Service Bulletin 41011300-67- 01 and 41011700-67-01 previously published with ASB 427-05-12 Revision A. 4. Make an entry in the aircraft historical records indicating compliance with this Alert Service Bulletin.
