This document is the normal checklist for the Cessna 182G Skylane equipped with a G1000 avionics system. It provides a comprehensive list of procedures for preflight, engine start, taxi, takeoff, and landing operations to ensure safety and proper aircraft operation.
- Preflight inspection must be completed before starting the engine.
- Fuel selector valve should be set to BOTH before engine start.
- Throttle control should be opened 1/4 inch during engine start.
- Mixture control should be set to FULL RICH until stable fuel flow is indicated.
- Check oil pressure within 30 to 60 seconds after engine start.
- Verify no red X's on engine page indicators before takeoff.
- Maximum demonstrated crosswind velocity for takeoff or landing is 15 knots.
- Best rate-of-climb speed at sea level is 80 KIAS.
