- Landing gear is hydraulically operated with no gear up-locks.
- Emergency extension allows gear to freefall when hydraulic pressure is dumped.
- Normal retraction should not exceed 109 KIAS; extension should not exceed 130 KIAS.
- Automatic gear extension activates below approximately 87 KIAS unless overridden.
- Manual emergency extension is possible by pushing a red lever down.
- The gear warning system activates under specific low power conditions.
- Hydraulic pressure loss may trigger the hydraulic pump to activate.
- Maintenance should be contacted if the hydraulic pump runs during cruise.
