Description of Type Design Change

SVR541 This certificate issued to Porosus Pty Ltd 9-11 Cavenagh Street Darwin, NT 0800 certifies that the change in the type design for the following product, with the conditions and limitations as specified herein, meets the airworthiness requirements listed in the continuation sheet. Original Product Reference Type Acceptance Certificate Number: R44 Referenced TC Number: FAAH11NM Make: Robinson Helicopter Company Model: R44, R44 11 Description of Type Design Change: Dual installation of Onboard Systems International Cargo Hook Kit P/N 200-288-00, 200-325-00 or 200-327-00 for Human External Cargo operations on R44 and R44 II helicopters, in accordance with Thomson Design Master Document List R5106-07-R5, dated 28 July 2021, or later approved revision. Maintained in accordance with Instructions for continued airworthiness R5106-09-R11, dated 21 July 2021 or later approved revision. Operated in accordance with Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement R5106-25-R13, dated 11 June 2021 or later approved revision. Limitations and Conditions: The approval of this modification applies to the above noted helicopter model series when they are equipped with a 28V electrical systems or if they are equipped with a 14V to 28V conversion kit as per Thomson Design Engineering Order TDE5106-101-R2, dated 17 January 2019 or later approved revision. Prior to incorporating this design change, the installer shall establish that the interrelationship between this change and any other modifications incorporated into the aircraft will not adversely affect the airworthiness of the modified aircraft. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder shall give the other person written evidence of that permission. This certificate shall remain in effect until suspended, cancelled or a termination date is otherwise established by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.
