May 15, 1992 TO ALL EXEC BUILDERS EXEC ADVISORY SERVICE BULLETIN A-06 History: RotorWay International recommends, sells and services only the 1-3/4 inch diameter main rotor shaft and related components, and does not sell or service the 1-1/2 inch diameter shaft that was manufactured by RotorWay Aircraft, as equipped on the EXEC. Action: The EXEC 90 is equipped with a 1-3/4 inch diameter mainshaft. The increased strength of this shaft combined with larger bearings and an innovative slider ball system has resulted in improved performance and component life. The larger EXEC 90 mainshaft may be fitted to the EXEC helicopter, and this conversion is strongly recommended. If you have purchased the old style 1-1/2 inch mainshaft from RotorWay International, the conversion to the larger shaft is considered mandatory.
