Description

The Airbus A319 is a shorter version of the A320, first launched in June 1993. It usually has 124 seats, while the A320 has 150. The A319 has the same wingspan as the A320, which gives it a longer range. This allows it to compete with the Boeing 737-700. The first A319 was delivered to Swissair in 1996, and over 1,400 have been delivered since then. Some of the main airlines that use the A319 are American Airlines, United Airlines, and Delta Air Lines.
