Airbus A321

Description

The Airbus A321 is a stretched version of the A320, about 44.5 meters long. It can hold around 35 more seats but has a slightly shorter flight range. Pilots who can fly the A320 can also fly the A321 because they share the same cockpit. Lufthansa and Alitalia were the first to get the A321 in 1994. Since then, Airbus has delivered 1,230 of these planes to airlines like Vietnam Airlines. In 2019, the A321LR (long range) will come out, which will compete with the Boeing 757 on certain routes. Some of the main airlines that use the A321 are Air China, American Airlines, and Lufthansa.
