Boeing 737-800

Description

The Boeing 737-800 was made to replace the 737-400. It can seat 162 passengers in a typical two-class setup, or up to 189 passengers in a single cabin. It competes with the Airbus A320 on medium-length and transcontinental routes. It's also a good replacement for MD-80 aircraft, especially in the US, because it burns 20% less fuel on similar routes, even with more passenger space. The 737-800 is a very popular model with airlines around the world, with over 5,000 planes ordered and about 4,000 delivered. Major airlines that use the 737-800 include American Airlines and Ryanair.
