Boeing 737-800

Description

The Boeing 737-800 was made to replace the 737-400. It can seat 162 people in a normal two-class setup, or up to 189 people in a single cabin. It goes up against the Airbus A320 on medium-length and transcontinental trips. It's also a good replacement for MD-80 planes, especially in the US, because it burns 20% less fuel on similar routes, even with more passengers. The 737-800 is a very popular plane with airlines around the world. Over 5,000 have been ordered, and about 4,000 have been delivered. Some of the main airlines that use the 737-800 are American Airlines and Ryanair.
