Description

The Boeing 777-200LR, which started commercial service with Pakistan International Airlines in 2006, is known as the world’s longest-range commercial airliner, capable of flying up to 9,500 nautical miles. Also called the ‘Worldliner’, this aircraft was designed to connect almost any two cities in the world, like London to Sydney, a trip of about 19 hours. In 2005, it set a record for non-stop distance with a 22-hour flight from Hong Kong to London. As of March 2016, eleven airlines use the 777-200LR. Key operators include Etihad and Ethiopian.
