Description
The Boeing 777-200LR, also called the 'Worldliner,' started flying commercially with Pakistan International Airlines in 2006. It can fly up to 9,500 nautical miles, making it the longest-range commercial airplane. It was made to connect almost any two cities, like London and Sydney, which would take about 19 hours. In 2005, a flight from Hong Kong to London set a record for the longest non-stop distance, taking 22 hours. As of March 2016, eleven airlines use the 777-200LR. Some of the main airlines that fly it are Etihad and Ethiopian.
