Description

This is a 1964 Piper PA-18-150 Super Cub. It has been completely refurbished with a new fuselage in 2019. It features large upper and lower baggage compartments with external doors. The O-320 A2B engine has 23 hours since major overhaul (SMOH). The engine was overhauled at Custom Aircraft Inc in 2016 and installed in 2019. Also new in 2019 are a 4” wider fuselage and modern gadgets. It has all new Poly Fiber coatings, front wing strut/spar attach reinforce brackets, oversize rudders and elevators, a long right landing gear step, a left fueling step, FAD muffler and shroud, FAD front and rear header tanks, NR brake boosters, weld-on float fittings, Dakota cub ribs (Round tip wings), EI CGR-30 engine monitor, a light battery under the pilot’s seat, front and rear inertia reel shoulder harnesses, Airglas straight skis, EDO 2000 floats, a windshield defroster, and rear seat heat. The last annual inspection was 6/26/2024. It has a Stratus ADSB transponder, Icom IC-A200 com radio, and SPA-4S intercom. It has a nice compact instrument panel with all radios and electrical in the panel and room for your iPad or GPS. It also features lifetime wing struts, heavy duty +3 landing gear, and 29” Bushwheel tires. The empty weight on wheels is 1160 lbs.
