OE-DLS/20-6/93 Dated 15 April 1993 This approval is grandfathered by EASA under Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012, Article 2 Paragraph 3(a). (3) The essential requirements for airworthiness according to Annex I of Regulation (EC) 216/2008 cannot be fulfilled due to the fact that the environment, this installation is intended to be used in, is not envisioned by the existing certification specifications (e.g. lightning strike, hail, turbulence in the vicinity of active thunderstorm clouds, use of pyrotechnical equipment, et.al.). Thus this installation will require a restricted certificate of airworthiness. SECTION 2: Airworthiness Directives All Airworthiness Directives applicable to Cessna F182Q model apply to this aircraft. SECTION 3: Occurrence Reporting The Specific Airworthiness Specification may be used as a basis for the issue of a Restricted Certificate of Airworthiness in accordance with 21.A.173 (b)(2) under the following conditions: a) The holder of a Restricted Certificate of Airworthiness based on this Specific Airworthiness Specification shall report to the State of Registry all information related to occurrences associated with the operation of the aircraft which affects or could affect the safety of operation1. b) Such reports shall be despatched within 72 hours of the time when the occurrence was identified unless exceptional circumstances prevent this. c) The State of Registry shall forward the information received under (a) to the Agency when it relates to failures, malfunctions, defects or other occurrences which cause or might cause adverse effects on the continuing airworthiness of the aircraft. 1 AMC 20-8 contains guidance describing the occurrences which are to be reported EASA.SAS.A.625 Cessna F182Q (S/N F18200073) Page 3 of 3 Issue 02 dated 12 June 2015 SECTION 4: Other Limitations 1. With hail prevention equipment fitted, this aircraft is limited to aerial work operations. 2. The applicability of this SAS is limited to Cessna F182Q S/N F18200073. 3. AFM Supplement “ Anhang zum Flughandbuch Reims/Cessna F182Q / Skylane für Cessna F182Q D-ELOY für die Einsatzart Hagelabwehr und Flüge mit eingebauter Hagelabwehrausrüstung vom März 2015.“ and MM Supplement „Installations- und Wartungsanweisung, AgJ Anlage D-ELOY vom März 2014“ apply. These supplements include maintenance, installation an operating instructions. 6. Transport of persons other than those required for the purpose of hail prevention or positioning is not permitted.
