Preflight Inspection

Starting Engine

For a normal takeoff, set the wing flaps to 0 degrees, apply full throttle, and lift the nose wheel at 60 MPH. The climb speed should be maintained at 90 MPH. During the enroute climb, maintain an airspeed of 100-120 MPH with power settings of 23 inches and 2450 RPM.
Emergency Procedures
Emergency procedures include actions for engine fire during start, power loss during takeoff, and engine failure during flight. Specific techniques are provided for each scenario, including maintaining airspeed and switching fuel tanks if necessary.
