Advantages of New Propeller System

The new propeller system offers several advantages over traditional 3-blade aluminum propellers, including superior vibration damping characteristics, which lead to almost vibration-free operations. The propellers feature a bonded stainless steel leading edge for enhanced erosion protection and are approximately 15 lbs lighter than original propellers. Additionally, they boast unlimited blade life and significant noise reductions both inside and outside the aircraft.

STC Kit Contents

The STC kit includes two 3-blade constant speed propellers (MTV-12-D-C-F/CF(LD)192-119a), two full composite spinners, an Airplane Flight Manual Supplement, installation instructions, and an operation and installation manual. The FAA STC number for this kit is SA02460AT.

Propeller Specifications

The propeller specifications detail the full designation as MTV-12-D-C-F/CF(LD)192-119a, with a milled single-piece aluminum hub. The blades are made from a lightweight natural composite material. The total weight of the propellers and spinner is 110 lbs, with a maximum and minimum diameter of 75.6 inches. The recommended time between overhaul (TBO) is 1800 hours.
