Exhaust System Inspection

The exhaust system must undergo a visual inspection every 50 hours or 30 days of operation. Tailpipes should be removed and inspected for cracks, corrosion, holes, or distortion annually. A pressure test of the exhaust system is also required every 12 months.

Multi-segment V-band clamps should be replaced every 500 hours of operation. The entire exhaust system must be removed from slip-joints to all turbocharger components every 2500 hours or 12 years, whichever comes first, and sent to an approved repair facility.
