Textron Aviation reserves the right to add, modify, or delete options without prior notification. NOTES: 1. “Provisions Only” Statement of Understanding At Purchaser’s request, Seller may agree to make provisions for a system in the Aircraft. Seller will do this in order to facilitate completion of the system at a time preferable for Purchaser subsequent to delivery. Purchaser understands and agrees that Seller’s li- ability for any such provision is governed by the warranty. In addition, if Purchaser has the Aircraft modifi ed to upgrade a provisional configuration to a fully functional configuration, Seller will warrant the functioning of the modified configuration if, and only if, the modification is accomplished at a facto- ry-owned Textron Aviation service center. Purchaser further understands that the provisions made are designed to accommodate a system as defi ned at present by Seller, and that Seller reserves the right to discontinue or change any system with- out notice. AIRCRAFT CERTIFICATION AND OPERATIONAL APPROVAL Aircraft Certification: If the Purchaser elects to meet the certification criteria other than those required for U.S. FAA 14 CFR Part 25–Transport Category (day, night, VFR, IFR), compliance may necessitate airframe modifications and additional systems. Certification Kits are, or will be, available to meet the type design requirements set forth by the relevant civil aviation authority, at an additional charge. CITATION LATITUDE VHF DATALINK RADIO (GDR 66) – GARMIN The GDR 66 is a VHF Data Radio (VDR) that supports VHF Data Link (VDL) Mode 2 communications. The GDR 66 also functions as a third VHF voice communication radio for the crew. This hardware is required to enable other optional VHF datalink services such as: ACARS (see 632Y), ATN-B1 (formerly Link 2000+) (see 677A) and FANS-1/A+ (see 632X). COCKPIT VOICE/DATA SATELLITE TRANSCEIVER (IRIDIUM) – GARMIN Includes a single-channel Iridium satcom system to enable voice calling capability via crew headsets as well as specific cockpit data communications. Available data communication services include request/response-based Garmin Connext Worldwide Weather with graphical and text weather services (where available), sending and receiving of in-flight text messages, aircraft position reporting, and in flight transmission of specific aircraft diagnostics data to ground based maintenance/support operations, enabling remote support prior to landing. Seller will cover costs associated with diagnostic data transmissions for a period of one year from the date of delivery. Purchaser is responsible for subscription/data charges for other services. IRIDIUM DATA RADIO (GSR 56) – GARMIN This GSR 56 is an Iridium transceiver that provides access to ACARS and FANS-1/A+ communications. No Iridium voice call capability is included with this option. This hardware is required to enable other optional Iridium datalink services such as: ACARS (see 632Y) and FANS-1/A+ (see 632X). Subscription services apply. ACARS CAPABILITY – GARMIN Adds software functionality to enable Aircraft Communications Addressing and Reporting System (ACARS) datalink communications. Datalink services may include textual weather (METAR/TAF/NOTAM/PIREP), departure/oceanic clearances, D-ATIS, position reports, uploading of flight plans, email and TWIP. CITATION LATITUDE FLIGHT DATA RECORDER (ICAO TYPE IA) – L3 AVIATION PRODUCTS This system complies with US Part 91, 91K and 135 requirements. It is compliant with current EU-OPS regulations and is expected to comply with anticipated future EU-OPS requirements for aircraft having a maximum takeoff mass of greater than 5,700 kg (12,500 lbs). This installation meets the flight data recorder requirements in most countries. QUICK ACCESS RECORDER – L3 AVIATION PRODUCTS The Quick Access Recorder (QAR) provides an accessible copy of the ARINC-717 data with or without the installation of a Flight Data Recorder (FDR). The QAR may be used, but is not required, to support programs such as Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA), Flight Data Monitoring (FDM), and Flight Data Analysis (FDA). The QAR contains a removable Compact Flash (CF) card to provide access to the recorded data. Note: The services mentioned above are not provided by Textron Aviation and are the responsibility of the purchaser. FLIGHT DATA MONITORING/ANALYSIS PROGRAM CAPABILITY Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA), Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) and Flight Data Analysis (FDA) programs are supported using the AReS system to collect and wirelessly transmit flight data to the customer’s choice of two FOQA/FDM/FDA providers via Textron Aviation’s LinxUs FDM service. One year complementary subscription is included. ADS-B IN CAPABILITY ADS-B In functionality increases crew situational awareness by providing position, direction and altitude information for aircraft within the vicinity of the aircraft’s current position. TERRAIN AWARENESS WARNING SYSTEM (TAWS) TERRAIN AWARENESS WARNING SYSTEM (TAWS) The G5000 system includes a Class A Terrain Awareness Warning System (TAWS). The TAWS function is allocated to the flight display units, providing weight and hardware resource savings as well as increased redundancy and availability. Reactive windshear alerting capability is also included. SURFACE WATCH – GARMIN During taxi operations, the system provides the crew with aural warnings, and visual warnings if the aircraft is nearing a runway, accelerating on a taxiway, or is lined up for takeoff on a runway with insufficient length. The system also provides call-outs for amount of runway remaining during landing roll out under certain conditions. EMERGENCY LOCATOR TRANSMITTER (ELT) EMERGENCY LOCATOR TRANSMITTER (ELT) - ARTEX A 406 MHz Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) with navigation interface is installed. (Note: Some authorities’ ELT programming requirements may not permit use of the navigation interface capability.) WEATHER DETECTION WEATHER RADAR – GARMIN A Garmin GWX processor with a 14-inch antenna is included. Solid-state electronics (i.e. no magnetron) and a transmitter power of 40 Watts provide for improved reliability compared with traditional radar systems having higher output power. Weather Attenuated Color Highlight (WATCH) automatic range limiting, vertical scan capability, Doppler turbulence detection capability in rain cells, and weather target alerting are included. SIRIUSXM SATELLITE BROADCAST GRAPHICAL WEATHER (CONTINENTAL US ONLY) Enables receipt and display of SiriusXM graphical weather information when operating in the continental United States. WX-1000E LIGHTNING DETECTION STORMSCOPE The WX-1000E aids in detecting the position and intensity of thunderstorm activity within 200 nm by displaying lightning symbols on the moving map. Lightning display modes can be selected and cleared through the G5000 touch-screen control panels. Lightning activity may be displayed either in cell mode or strike mode.
