Closed height as low as 3 INNOVATIONS THE RADIAL PISTON PUMP INTEGRATED TEST FUNCTION Workplace health and safety as well as economic aspects of performing fast and effective maintenance operations are highly talked about topics. HYDRO took it to the drawing board and devloped a tripod-jack equiped with a radial piston pump that can be operated with a cordless drill or pneumatic drill. This allows for use without pressurized air, eliminating tripping hazards. In remote locations or in case of an AOG this feature proved to be especially valuable. A reduction in noises present at the workside allows easier communication between the team. Combined with uniform lifting as lifting speed is easily adjustable, damage to the aircraft because of resonances on wings or injuries to the operators can be prevented. A tool benefits the operation only if it’s available and in operational condition. This is especially true when fast turn around times are a must. The integrated test function improves efficiency and reduces running costs. A trained technician can easily realize the functional test (perform leak test and the hand pump pressure limit test) of the tripod jack without using a test stand or additional load testing equipment on site at your operation. Jacks no longer have to be sent out for testing purposes and stay at your disposal any time.
