RFMS 1350-1200 revision C or later FAA approved revision per STC SR00811SE or SR01049SE. 8.0 DOCUMENTS None 9.0 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Refer to the applicable Eurocopter AS350 Maintenance Manual, Wiring Diagram Manual and Parts Catalog as required to comply with this Service Bulletin A. MODIFICATION (1) Remove power from aircraft. (2) Gain access to Fuse Panel and BUSBAR PP6, refer to Figure 1. (3) Identify fuse location No. 782 and install one (1) standard Eurocopter 2.5 AMP Fuse3 . (4) Identify and mark 2.5 AMP fuse as “ENG ALT AIR POWER” using DECAL P/N 1350E1-201. (5) Relocate wire 3509A20 to connection strip 27∆ 22 terminal 15 associated with fuse installed in step 3 (Reference AS350 Wiring Diagram Manual Chapter 39 and Figure 1). (6) Close panel per AS350 Maintenance Manual. B. FUNCTIONAL CHECK (1) Ensure “ENG ALT AIR” switch on Panel Assembly is in guarded position (CLOSED). 2 If this fuse location is unavailable, use next available location and associated connection strip and terminal. Reference AS350 Wiring Diagram Manual Chapter 39. 3 Eurocopter P/N: D1-2-5. 8 Digital Drive Suite 104, Novato, CA 94949, USA Phone 415-884-0555 Fax 415-884-0505 Page 3 of 5 (2) Apply power to aircraft. (3) Reset “ENG ALT AIR” circuit breaker on Panel Assembly. (4) Set Engine Alternate Air Switch to OPEN. (5) Verify that both bypass doors fully open. (6) Set Engine Alternate Air Switch to CLOSE. (7) Verify that both bypass doors fully close. (8) Turn on instrument lights and ensure that post lights function properly on bright and dim. (9) This completes the functional check. C.
